The Fremont Tour’s “Rocket Man, Super Hero sort of,” aka Mark Ukelson, uses performance as a way to share the story of Fremont’s public art. Ukelson, wearing a hard had decorated with a rocket, shows 9-year-old Michael Closson how to “fire” Fremont’s iconic rocket. The exhaust is from a fire extinguisher triggered from an opened lockbox.
